Cancer remission or cure |
If all the signs and symptoms of cancer are going to disappear then it is called cancer remission. But is very difficult to decide that the cancer is going to be cured or not. It may be complete or partial remission of cancer. If all the signs & symptoms disappear then the cancer is cured and the patient is going towards a normal life. If you are in the cancer remission stage from the previous 5 years it means you are cured.
How many types of cancer remission?
There are two types of cancer remission which are described below.
- Partial cancer remission
- Complete cancer remission
Partial Cancer remission:
If some of the signs and symptoms remain in your body or half cancerous cells remain in your body and the doctor said it's a stable stage of this cancer, this condition is called partial cancer remission. In this condition remaining cancerous cells could not produce cancerous again.
Complete Cancer remission:
If any signs and symptoms do not appear then this condition is called complete cancer remission.
What is the difference between Cure and Resissiom of cancer?
A cure means you are fully normal and cancer will never show in your body again. But remission means all the signs and symptoms are disappeared.
After the remission of cancer can cancer can come again?
If there are signs and symptoms of cancer when you discharge from the hospital then the doctor can say there is no sign and symptom at this time but the doctor is not sure that does it will come back or not. It may come within 5 years after the treatment but after more than 5 years there is rare cancer.
